In the search for lasting peace a brave scientist is on the verge of breakthrough whilst researching spider venom. One faithful evening his lab is attacked, his work destroyed and his wife murdered, leaving the scientist devastated and heartbroken. Driven by his desire for revenge and encouraged by a megalomaniacal politician, he brings the city to the verge of destruction before discovering the truth.
A silent film conceived, filmed, edited and scored over 3 days as a part of the immersive performance of 'Rise of The Party' at Boomtown Festival 2024. The Monsters We Make is an experiment in crowd driven film making and a celebration of classic monster cinema.
