With the success of the Twin Emperors Copper County is roaring into its new identity of COPPERWOOD. Movies are being made, fame, fortunes and success are all yours for the taking as the next big silent film is being made. Props need to be made, extras recruited and the only thing standing in the way of the director's vision is The Office Of Censorship and Sensible Practices, who seem to want to close the whole thing down for lude and rude behaviour. Little pockets of resistance are creeping in, most obviously with a very secret speakeasy that no one knows about.
The Rise of The Party was a four day fully immersed performance as part of Boomtown 2024. It involved a company of 70 multi-disciplinary performers that included theatre, music and circus. It coincided with the filming and premiere of 'The Monsters We Make'.
